For this project we had to show what we would be like in the future. Without using humans or faces at all. We had to somehow make a piece that showed something about us and what we want to do in the future. I really want to travel a lot when I'm older so I drew the world. I did it on scratch board too because you can really get great textures and style into it.

For this project we used charcoal and a partner to create drawings. We followed each others movements on each side of the paper to create a mirror image together. Christine and I were partners and did two together. Then I did a big body one where you sit in the middle and draw all around you with charcoal. I liked this project because it was a lot of free will in it. We just went for it and made pictures.
For this project we had to pick a word with four or more letters and write them out. We had to have it mean something. Mine said LIFE and every letter was a different type of flower. Such as the L was a lotus flower. We also had to show some negative space, so I left the letters white and the background black. The flowers were colored in with colored pencils while the rest was simple. I like the way it came out and wouldn't really change anything.
For this Charcoal project we had to get a picture of ourselves or someone that shows shadows. We then used charcoal and the skills we learned from Art Proff to make our project. I used cross hatching, white and black charcoal, and shading to make mine as realistic as possible. My model was Janie and I like the way it came out, even though it could be a little better.
